The music is characterized by analogue sounds, deep melodies, cool synthesizer sounds and drum machines from the early 80s. Minimal electronics, danceability, edgy vocal lines as well as playful, but also experimental sounds are a constant part. The precise characterization of our musical style is just as difficult because of the great stylistic diversity as it is to distinguish it from post-minimalism. The duo Defects as a minimal art form without the claim of a complex explanatory model stands for a minimalist, puristic sound and dance experience.
