🌙Wisdom That Kills | Sacred Dark Fantasy Opera ⚔️Lunaris : Covenant of the Night Goddess⚔️ ✨Chapter : Wisdom That Kills✨ 🌙Lyrics🌙 Veritas tacet. (Truth is silent.) Silentium regnat. (Silence reigns.) O court of Westaria — you took my word for law. For thirty years, no error. I weighed the grain, the men, the land. I never weighed the heart. And when the famine came, the crown knelt down to me. "Strike first." Two words. No more. Veritas tacet. Two words — and seven years. Silentium regnat. Ten thousand. Ten thousand names. Anima dormit. (The soul sleeps.) I walked the field I wrote. A thousand graves in rows. I knew the cause of every war — and not one thing of mine. Then from the blood-red sky it came. "Vanish," it said. "Be no one. And nothing that you know will ever kill again." And I took it with both hands. "Strike first." Two words. No more. Veritas tacet. Two words — and seven years. Silentium regnat. Ten thousand. Ten thousand names. Anima dormit. O mountain, answer me: I speak — and thousands fall. I keep my silence — and they fall the same. Is this atonement, or the finest place to hide? Luna videt. (The moon sees.) Then one came climbing with a moon in her hand. Anima dormit. She did not come for wisdom. Luna videt. She only climbed. And the door I sealed for years opened by itself. Veritas tacet. Silentium regnat. Anima dormit. Luna videt. 🌙Meaning & Story🌙 The Two Words That Killed Ten Thousand. Before the mountain, his name was Eldrin — royal scholar of Westaria, consulted by every king for thirty years, his every sentence recorded as doctrine. His knowledge was vast and it was empty of wisdom. In the year of the great famine, with two neighbouring kingdoms standing at the edge of war, the crown came to him for an answer, and he gave one that was flawless in theory: strike first, cut them down before they can stand, a little blood today to prevent a great deal tomorrow. He had counted the grain, the soldiers, the terrain — every quantity but one. The human heart. The pre-emptive strike lit a vengeance no calculation had predicted; a war that should have ended in a single season ran for seven years, and burned a hundred villages, and took ten thousand lives. When it was over he walked out into the killing field his sentence had made, stood among a thousand graves, and found that all his knowledge could not answer the only question that mattered: how did I do this. That night he abandoned his title, his name, and his court, and climbed to the highest and coldest peak he could find, to be as far from other people as a man can get. And on that climb a card fell out of the blood-red sky and whispered the one thing he wanted to hear — that if he disappeared, his knowledge could never hurt anyone again. He took it with both hands. Now the world calls him the Hermit of the Peak, and refuses to forget him: generals and kings and the power-hungry climb his mountain for wisdom, and he refuses every one of them, speaking to no one, because he knows what one sentence of his can cost. And every night the same question eats him — whether his silence is how he pays the debt, or simply the finest place he has found to hide. 🌙If this song touches your heart, don't forget to hit Subscribe 🎶 🎧    / @inorisakibgm   🎧   / inorisakibgm   🎧 Soundcloud   / inorisaki-bgm   🎧 SoundOn soundon.global/bio/inorisakibgm 🟢 https://www.soundon.global/bio/inoris... 🟢 Spotify https://open.spotify.com/user/31mm5tk... 🌙Music & Visuals & Animation by InoriSaki BGM #DarkFantasyMusic #DarkFantasyOpera #InoriSaki #CinematicSoundtrack #TheHermitArcana #SacredChoral #GothicOpera #ChoralMusic #FantasyOST #FemaleVocal
