How do native English speakers really use “LOOK” in everyday conversation? 👀
In this English listening and speaking lesson, Mizu and Lucas show you 5 common expressions with “look” through natural conversations, real-life situations, stories, and practical examples.
Instead of memorizing grammar rules, you’ll learn to understand the feeling and situation behind each phrase:
🔎 LOOK FOR — search for something you need or want
❤️ LOOK AFTER — care for someone or something
🕵️ LOOK INTO — investigate or examine a problem
⚠️ LOOK OUT! — give someone an urgent warning
👀 LOOK OUT FOR — stay alert and watch for someone or something
You’ll also learn the important differences between phrases such as “look for” vs. “look into”, “look out” vs. “look out for”, and “look after” vs. “look out for.”
Throughout the lesson, you’ll hear natural English examples about:
• Finding lost things
• Taking care of pets and family
• Investigating problems
• Warning someone about danger
• Staying alert for people, signs, emails, and possible problems
• Using phrasal verbs naturally in everyday conversation
At the end, you’ll practice the five expressions through a connected story and a speaking challenge, so you can start using them in your own English.
🎯 Perfect for:
English learners, ESL students, English listening practice, English speaking practice, intermediate English learners, and anyone who wants to understand natural everyday English.
