I slowly cook the porridge — warm, nourishing, and fresh — to give Tom, Lu, and the other dogs a comforting meal. Then the farm becomes much busier as I step into one of the busiest harvest days of the season, gathering the rewards of many days of hard work. After the porridge is ready, I fill the bowls and the dogs gather together to enjoy their warm meal. The most important task at the end of the day: I continue building and improving the dog shelter — preparing metal roofing sheets and using a drill to install a sturdy new roof — so the dogs can have a safer, more comfortable home of their own. Every meal, every harvest, and every piece of the shelter is prepared with care. This is real farm life on a quiet countryside farm. This slow living day is pure nature therapy. 🐾🏠🌿 Tom stays close as the new dog shelter takes shape. Lu enjoys her warm porridge with the other dogs, and Miu stays quietly nearby as evening falls.
