The God of Elijah

Elijah confronted King Ahab, declaring that there would be no dew or rain for years except by his word, thereby challenging the supposed power of Baal. As the drought devastated the land, God commanded the Brook Cherith to provide Elijah with water and sent ravens to bring him food. When the brook eventually dried up, God directed the prophet to Zarephath. There, God miraculously sustained a widow's endless supply of flour and oil, and later used Elijah to raise her son from the dead.
