NCAA 27 North Dakota State rebuild 2029 week 5 Vs. Wyoming

The North Dakota State Bison are back on track. 🦬 After suffering their first loss of the season against #2 Ole Miss, The Herd responded on the road against Jacksonville State with a 28–17 victory, improving to 2–1 on the season and climbing back up to #18 in the national rankings. And once again, the Bison were led by the player they've come to rely on most. HB Myles Mitchell earned Player of the Game honors after putting together another impressive all-around performance. Mitchell rushed for 89 yards and two touchdowns on 17 carries, while adding another 74 yards on five catches through the air. That's 163 total yards of offense from the reigning Doak Walker Award winner. With QB Cutter Boley graduating after last season, this Bison offense has started to shift its identity. Instead of leaning on the passing game, NDSU is becoming a team that wants to establish itself on the ground—and Myles Mitchell is proving that he can be the workhorse this offense needs. Week after week, Mitchell continues to find ways to produce. And now The Herd gets to bring that offense back home. Standing across the field this week will be the Wyoming Cowboys, who enter Fargo with a 3–1 record and a chance to make a major statement of their own. Taking down a top-25 NDSU team on the road would be a massive win for Wyoming, so the Bison can't afford to overlook this matchup. NDSU has already learned this season that every opponent is going to bring its best shot. Now The Herd has an opportunity to keep building momentum, defend the Fargodome, and continue climbing back toward where this program expects to be. The loss to Ole Miss is behind them. The response has begun. Now it's time to keep it rolling. 🏈 #18 North Dakota State Bison (2–1) vs Wyoming Cowboys (3–1) 📍 Fargodome — Fargo, North Dakota 📅 Week 4 A ranked Bison team.
