FedRAMP's Consolidated Rules (CR26) removed the agency sponsor requirement and replaced the Low, Moderate, and High baselines with certification Classes A through D. Under CR26, FedRAMP certifies first, and agencies authorize second. The Class A pipeline opened on August 3, 2026, with Classes B and C following on August 31.
