The Tree That Watches | Children’s Book Illustration Time-Lapse | White Raven Illustration

I wanted the tree to feel like more than just part of the landscape, like an old presence that has been there long before the characters arrived. This time-lapse shows the process of building the illustration piece by piece, from the initial lines and textures to the layers of dense ink that bring the tree, raven, and surrounding forest to life. This is part of an original children’s book project I’m developing, combining traditional ink illustration with a darker, folklore-inspired atmosphere. Drawn traditionally in black ink. Thanks for watching and following along as I build this story, one page at a time. 🖤🐦‍⬛🌲 🖋️ ABOUT THE ARTIST C.AAMOLD | White Raven Illustration Self-taught traditional ink artist creating original fine ink illustrations.
