How to make a spider lamp out of steel using welding. DIY

It's that time of year again in the UK, our 8 legged friends are getting frisky so lets make a lamp while they make love ! This lamp is made from mild steel rebar (8mm) and some flat bar (40mm x 3mm) welded together with a hole for a lamp cord and then fixed to my living room wall. The bulb is an LED dimmable bulb and the cord has a dimmer switch attached.
