Drum Lesson: Left Foot Approach

The biggest lie drummers tell: “The drums are a four-limb instrument.” 😄 We love saying it… but how often do we actually use all four limbs equally? In this lesson, I’m talking about our often-neglected left foot and why limiting it to quarter notes, offbeat eighth notes, or other fixed patterns isn’t really using it to its full potential.
