TWENTY-SEVENTH SUNDAY IN ORDINARY TIME (A) | OCTOBER 04, 2026 THE VINEYARD BELONGS TO GOD! — Matthew 21:33-43 In today's Gospel, Jesus tells the parable of the wicked tenants, reminding us that everything we have comes from God and that we are called to be faithful stewards of His gifts. The tenants rejected the owner's messengers and even killed his son, showing their greed, disobedience, and refusal to acknowledge the owner's authority. As Christians, we are invited to reflect on how we use the gifts, talents, opportunities, and responsibilities entrusted to us by God. Are we producing the fruits of faith, love, justice, and obedience, or are we taking God's blessings for granted? May we never reject God's invitation to live according to His will. Instead, may our lives bear abundant fruits that glorify Him and reflect His love to others.
