Dreamlike Views Of TROMSØ, Norway! 4K | Fjellheisen Cable Car To Mount Storsteinen

At the height of winter when the Arctic Circle is in the thick of polar night, we took the Fjellheisen Cable Car to the summit of Mount Storsteinen where an otherworldly snowy peak awaited us, providing the best views of Tromsø from above. We went up at around midday to see the town under the last of the sunlight thinking we'd spend around an hour up there, but eventually coming back down four hours later after a walk around and a few drinks in the cabin. Definitely worth it if you can spare 595 NOK (£48!) for a return ticket... if not, you can swap the five minute long cable car for a 1.2km climb. Since spring 2026 there's been a lot of maintenance going on here, so be sure to check it's open before you go!
