स्वप्न और जागृत अवस्था : मन की माया और बुद्धि का असली कार्य | Anandmurti Gurumaa

In a dream the intellect does not work at all. A flying horse, a relative who has died, anything strange can appear and nothing seems odd, because the dream is a creation of the mind. Param Pujya Gurudev Anandmurti Gurumaa takes a seeker's question: if the intellect is subsided in sleep and dream, what must be awakened in it so that the visible world is understood as mithya? Pujya Gurudev begins with the dream. It is the mind's entertainment, drawn from the impressions, the sukh, dukh and residue of experience, that lie in chitta, the subconscious. The one who dreams does not know it is a dream, that the mind has made it, or that it will end the moment sleep breaks. Then Pujya Gurumaa turns to waking life. The intellect is said to lead there, yet she sees the mind at work: in raag and dvesh, in anger acted on without a thought for the consequences, and in people with many degrees and people with none who behave alike. She speaks of the labourer who sleeps easily on his sacks and the software engineer, lawyer, doctor and businessman who cannot, and of dreams as the relief of unfulfilled wishes. Waking is led by the intellect, dream by the mind, and deep sleep by ahankar, where neither mind nor intellect is present. Seeing the world as mithya, she says, asks for a subtle, sattvic intellect, and that level of understanding cannot form until the mind is steady. #mindandintellect #wakingdreamingsleep #dreamstate #anandmurtigurumaa #sleepandmind You can email your spiritual questions for revered Gurudev Anandmurti Gurumaa to samvaad@gurumaa.com - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Ashram Address Rishi Chaitanya Ashram NH - 1, Ganaur, District - Sonipat Haryana - 131101, India Contact: 0130-2216500/501, 9896263821 Office Timings - 10am - 5pm (Every day) Email: info@gurumaa.com - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Download Amrit Varsha App for more videos.
