Getting to this paradise is half the adventure, and by far the most dangerous part. We take on the infamous Fairy Meadows Jeep Track, officially ranked as the World's 2nd Most Dangerous Road. Carved directly into sheer cliff faces with thousand meter vertical drops and no guardrails, this unpaved road is an extreme test of nerve. Once the jeep track ends at Tattu Village, our real endurance test begins: a steep mountain trek to Fairy Meadows. Due to timing, we had to undertake the grueling hike in pitch black darkness, navigating narrow alpine paths under the night sky.
