Guinea Pigs | Red Maple Leaves for the Piggies

It's another beautiful day at Pig Corner and the boys are all eager to head out and make the most of it; they are so quick out of the door today that it's not even possible to put their names up. Barney makes straight for the playground where he likes to have breakfast with Mario; finding the gate closed, he heads for the far end by the green bin to squeeze through the slats. He's gained 30 grams over the past two or three days, so sooner or later he's going to find he can't squeeze through there anymore. Later in the day they head up to the top, where Amos and Albert are in the pen - a change from their usual routine. Anyone who watches regularly will have seen that the pigs seem to hang out in the same little groups of two or three. Basil is always following Dudley, Cedric always tagging Piggly B, the Pongos often together etc. That's very much in evidence again today; all very predictable really, along with Luigi trying to be boss and being a pain to everypig. Cedric also seems to be in an antagonising kind of mood today. Eagle-eyed observers may notice Dylan appears to have had a nip just above his right eye. Thankfully their instinct is always to close their eyes when conflict occurs. When rewatching scuffles in slo-mo I am always relieved to see them scrunch their eyes tightly shut, just at the right moment. Something similar happened to Basil recently as well. He got a nick just below his left eye, but it healed up nicely. A potential eye injury for one of them is one of my biggest concerns. The last scene shows Amos and Albert heading out for their evening walk, after the rest have gone back to the shed. I'm pleased to see that Amos is still up for it.
