Join host Aaron Burnett as he sits down with Raja Mukerji, co-founder of ExtraHop, to talk about talking to 68 customers before writing a line of code, why launching into the 2008 financial crisis turned out to be a gift, and what it took to step aside as CEO of his own company. They also discuss the identity crisis that followed a $900M+ exit, and the hard-earned lesson that the best fuel isn’t fear of losing, but the choice to keep building because you want to. About Raja Mukerji: Born in the UK and raised partly in India, Raja started programming at age eight before studying computer engineering at the Milwaukee School of Engineering. After seven years at F5 Networks, he co-founded ExtraHop in 2007, bootstrapping it through the financial crisis to an acquisition in 2021 for more than $900 million. The company now does over $300 million in revenue. 10-year EO member and a passionate advocate for intentional community, customer obsession, and the principle that every company is a company of people.
