We Went to the BELMONT SHORE Car Show! 🚗 600+ Classics Take Over Long Beach

Come with us to the Belmont Shore Car Show! We spent the day walking 14 blocks of 2nd Street in Long Beach, surrounded by classic cars, hot rods, lowriders, and custom builds — and we had an absolute blast. 🚗 A little history: this show has been running since 1990, when the Bay City Rodders car club teamed up with the Belmont Shore Business Association. This year's show was the 35th annual, with nearly 800 cars lining 2nd Street and around 30,000 people showing up — all completely free to spectators. It's one of the biggest single-day car shows on the West Coast. And it makes sense it happens here. Long Beach is a car town through and through — from the old Lions Drag Strip days to the Grand Prix roaring through downtown every spring, this city has loved loud engines for generations.
