Our EPIC Day in Sequoia National Park!

Join us for our first time visiting Sequoia National Park as we spend one unforgettable day exploring the giant trees, scenic mountain roads, and some of the most iconic stops in the park. Seeing the giant sequoias had been on our bucket list for years, and this was the first day of our California National Parks road trip through Sequoia, Kings Canyon, and Yosemite. We started with an early morning drive from Fresno to Sequoia National Park, entered through the Foothills Entrance, stopped at the historic Sequoia National Park entrance sign, visited Tunnel Rock, and made our way up Generals Highway toward the Giant Forest. Along the way, we experienced the incredible drive into the Sierra Nevada Mountains, passed the Four Guardsmen, explored the General Sherman Tree Trail, visited the Giant Forest Museum, and walked the peaceful Big Trees Trail. This Sequoia National Park travel vlog is all about our experience seeing the giant sequoia trees for the first time, including what it felt like to stand among some of the largest trees on Earth. The fee for a Standard entrance pass is $20.00–$35.00. Non-US residents (16 and over) must pay an additional $100 per person fee unless admitted with an Annual or America the Beautiful Pass. Hours: The parks are open 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Occasionally, winter storms will close some park roads until they can be plowed. Other park roads are closed during winter months.
