1978 10 14 Purdue

The Buckeyes solved a few problems after their rout at the hands of Penn State to open the season. Next they traveled to Purdue which looked like a very tough road trip and it was. Purdue and Freshman Phenom QB Mark Herrmann had been embarrassed in Columbus in 1977 and they wanted some revenge and took a measure.Art Schlichter played probably his best game to date and The Buckeyes rolled up a sizable yardage advantage but couldn't capitalize and lost. This is an Ohio State Film with Purdue Radio Audio. I claim no rights to The Film or Audio separately but I did produce this combination.
