Golf Gti MK7.5 (Stage 3) 400GTI concept was inspired by Volkswagen’s Golf “R400” Mk7 project that was introduced in 2015 but later cancelled due to blaming the diesel-gate of TDI engines. “400” digits refers to the engine output of 400BHP, same as how R400 was named by VW. APR claims that their Stage 3 file, with Octane 98 setup, produces 396BHP with the supporting mods (equivalent output to R400).
