13 Tesco Items British Preppers Are Quietly Buying Before November (All Under £2!)

Before the next winter power cut, here are 13 cheap Tesco items British preppers are quietly buying, nearly all under £2, chosen from twenty-two years in the Royal Engineers and fifteen writing a county's emergency plans. The clocks have gone back, it's dark before five, and storm season is here. I cover a poncho for storm jobs outside, petroleum jelly, why I'd swap hydrogen peroxide for plasters and sterile wipes, stock cubes and a flask, unscented tea lights used safely, duct tape and your stop tap, easy-cook rice, no-cook porridge oats, hand warmers, the foil blanket, bottled water and a head torch. I checked each Tesco price and say plainly where one breaks the £2 rule. Most importantly, I explain why candles are light and not heat, why hand warmers never go on bare skin or in bed, and the 60p item at number one that matters most when your phone dies. #UKPrepping #PowerCut #WinterPrep #CostOfLiving #StormSeason
