The scam uses AI now. Fake Claude installers. Fake ChatGPT download pages. So Google is fighting back with AI too. On October 20, 2026, Chrome's Enhanced Protection got a server-side Gemini model that reads suspicious pages, judges their intent, and warns you — plus clipboard inspection that catches ClickFix commands before you paste them into your terminal. We took Google's announced defense, line by line, and tested it on paper against the documented attacks. THE 5 GAPS WE FOUND: 1. Opt-in only — Standard Protection (the default) doesn't get it 2. Typed commands — no copy, nothing to inspect 3. Out-of-browser lures — email, PDFs, shared AI chats 4. Heuristic vs adaptive — attackers test and adapt cheaply 5. "10× safer" = warnings shown, not scams prevented VERDICT: Real defense, right enemy — but opt-in, browser-only, copy-only. AI vs AI ends in a draw until the human changes the game. Analysis based on Google's announced protections (Oct 20, 2026) vs documented attack reports. No live malware was run. 🔬 We never script the result. We script the question. The evidence writes the ending. #AIScamWars #Chrome #Gemini #AIvsAI #CyberSecurity #ClickFix #ScamProtection #RevealWire
