Great Tom Jubilee Swing

Great Tom's deep distinctive tones were audible across the city as the Bell was swung 'open' for the first time since 2016 in celebration of the Queen's Platinum Jubilee on Thursday 2nd between 1pm - 2pm. Oxford's Great Tom has marked times of National joy and sorrow since it was moved from Osney Abbey in 1546.
