The 11 tribes/clans of Davao City. Their vivid and rich culture and customs are among the solid groundworks of the vibrancy, development, and personality of the prospering city of Davao. The clans of Davao are one of the fundamental justifications for why they are celebrating the Kadayawan Festival. The eleven tribes represented are: Iranun, Ata, Kagan, Bagobo Klata, Maguindanaon, Bagobo Tagabawa, Maranao, Matigsalug, Sama, Obu Manuvu, and Taosug.
