Oggi abbiamo trattato le nostre arnie con acido ossalico diluito nello sciroppo, cioè sgocciolato. Questo trattamento è servito per abbattere la Varroa destructor presente nelle famiglie. Conviene farlo in questo periodo perché la varroa non è ancora numerosa e, proprio per questo, può essere abbattuta più facilmente. Abbiamo utilizzato Api-Bioxal per effettuare tutto il trattamento. Questo è il video con meno tagli che abbia mai fatto: ho scelto di lasciarlo il più possibile al naturale proprio per farvi vedere come lavoriamo.
