Light to the Nations | Christian Alternative Metal

LIGHT TO THE NATIONS — MERCIFUL WRATH Inspired by Isaiah 49:1–7. Called by God. Despised by men. Upheld by the Father. Light to the Nations is an original Christian alternative metal song inspired by Isaiah's vision of the Lord's Servant, through whom God's salvation reaches the ends of the earth. The song points to Jesus Christ: the rejected Servant, the crucified Savior, and the risen King. What appeared to be defeat was not the end. God's saving purpose stands, His Word remains true, and the good news of Jesus Christ is proclaimed to the nations. “Salvation to the ends of the earth!” Welcome to Merciful Wrath, Scripture-rooted alternative rock and metal proclaiming God's holiness, the seriousness of sin, the sovereignty of grace, and the salvation accomplished through Jesus Christ.
