This video tells the full story of Bobby Hill from King of the Hill. It starts with the doctor's diagnosis that nearly kept him from being born, then follows his childhood in Arlen through the episodes that shaped him. The video is a long, calm narration that goes through the major Bobby Hill episodes in order. It looks at what each one shows about Bobby and his father, Hank Hill. It covers Bobby's unlikely conception, a scouting trip and his first kiss, a deer season that changes how Hank connects with his son, and the comedy talent that finally gets Bobby an audience. Throughout, the narration looks at the gap between Hank's rigid idea of manhood and Bobby's gentle, theatrical, sincere nature. What's covered in this video: In "Pregnant Paws," season 3, episode 4, aired October 13, 1998, Hank tries to breed Lady Bird and remembers Dr. Rubin telling him that a narrow urethra, made worse by chronic tension, meant he and Peggy would likely never have children. In season 1, episode 3, Bobby joins the Order of the Straight Arrow, and Hank leads the camping trip with Dale, Bill, and Boomhauer, using the name Kicking Elk and making up a spirit called Wematanye. During the Straight Arrow trip, John Redcorn warns the men about the sacred spirit bag, and Bobby knocks out a tagged whooping crane on a snipe hunt while a park ranger and an activist named Mona are nearby. In "Plastic White Female," season 1, episode 12, aired May 11, 1997, Bobby practices on Luanne's mannequin head before Joseph Gribble's party, shares a practice kiss with Connie Souphanousinphone, and ends up kissing Nancy Hicks in Spin the Bottle. In "Good Hill Hunting," season 3, episode 8, Hank admits he is afraid to be alone with Bobby, misses the hunting license deadline, and takes Bobby to the La Grunta Inn and Resort after Eustace Gribble shows him a brochure. At La Grunta, Hank and Bobby agree there is no sport in a canned hunt and leave without a kill, and Hank lets Bobby drive the truck home. In "Meet the Propaniacs," season 4, episode 20, aired April 16, 2000, Hank turns down a comedy summer camp and sends Bobby to work at Strickland Propane, where Bobby finds an audience for his prop comedy. The final section follows Bobby through a mouthful of dirt, a boxing class, and a purse.
