ORMA Patriot’s Day 2026 | Honoring September 11th

Oak Ridge Military Academy came together for a full day of remembrance, reflection, and service in honor of September 11, 2001. The day began with an early morning wreath-laying ceremony before ORMA cadets and our Color Guard joined the Town of Oak Ridge for its annual 9/11 Memorial Service. Later, cadets, faculty, staff, families, and guests gathered in front of historic Alumni Hall for Oak Ridge Military Academy’s Patriot’s Day Parade. These traditions give our cadets an opportunity to remember the lives lost on September 11th, honor the first responders who ran toward danger, and recognize the men and women who have served our country in the years since. A special thank you to the Oak Ridge Fire Department for once again coming out to support Oak Ridge Military Academy and our Patriot’s Day events. We greatly appreciate their continued support of our cadets, our school, and the Oak Ridge community. Thank you as well to the Town of Oak Ridge for including ORMA in its remembrance ceremony and allowing our cadets to take part in such an important community tradition.
