Harrison Morgan killed a man in a hotel in episode one and cleaned the room in under an hour. Season 2 lands October 30. This is why his position is worse than anything his father ever faced — even though Dexter spent eight seasons hiding bodies inside a police department.
Season 2 picks up three years after Season 1, and showrunner Clyde Phillips has said why: Harrison had to turn twenty-one before he could join the NYPD. The set photos back it up. So the man whose knot gave Claudette Wallace the bags, the route and the Empire Hotel staff list is now putting on a uniform in the same department that already looked straight at him once.
This video breaks down how that case was actually built, why bleach doesn't hide blood from luminol, who is standing next to Harrison in that uniform, and how I think this comes apart.
WHAT'S IN THIS VIDEO

• The garbage bag at the dump, and the knot that started the case
• The three-year time jump, in the showrunner's own words
• The donut box, and "some things stay the same"
• Why Harrison's cleanup worked and still gives him away
• Fiona Mixon, Captain Mixon, and the relationship a Morgan has never had
• Prater's files, and who is holding them now
• Mia LaPierre, Krysten Ritter, and why dead characters come back as a debt
