CAKE HACK 3D HEART CAKE How to make a Heart shaped cake. This cake is super easy to make and you don't need any special cake pans. just a cake mix, a Pyrex bowl, some fondant and a few simple tools. Perfect for your Date, Lover, Spouse, Valentine or even your kids. You can easily make it a pastel color and place fonts on the front that say things like the little heart shaped bags of candy do, for example "BE MINE" This cake will take you about 3 hours to make so give yourself a little ahead planning- tips, bake your cakes the day before, & prepare your cake board the day before if you can. I'd highly recommend that you use ganache, but if you can't use a buttercream that will set up firm. I'll be uploading my swiss buttercream recipe that's a fantastic substitute to ganache. Keep and eye out for that video. just so you know the smoother I used for the cake is from Sharene's cakes & bakes on fb. The cake board I purchased at Michael's but usually I make my own because that is way for affordable. I'll also have a video tutorial posted soon for how to do that- it's super easy & cheap.
