Southern Highlands Anniversary Strathspey

3-couple Strathspey devised by Helen Wales from the Bowral Branch of the Royal Scottish Country Dance Society. Helen devised the dance to celebrate the 20th Southern Highlands Anniversary in 2006. In 2019 Helen received the Branch Award for contributions to Scottish Country dancing. This year, 2026 it is the Southern Highlands 40th Anniversary and the dancers from the Far South Coast Dance Scottish have video this dance in recognition of Helen's work. The music is Hope Little's Strathspey played by Muriel Johnstone
