Scottish Smallpipes - Keelman Ower the Land

“ Keelman Ower the Land” performed on Scottish Smallpipes. Recorded for the Lowland and Border Piper’s Society July 2026 tune of the month. This tune is found in both Scottish and Northumbrian tradition dating back to at least the early 19th century, perhaps earlier. Instruments heard on the recording are: Alexander Anistratov A/D Scottish smallpipes Blair Digital Chanter Silvertone HL-1220 Guitar This video has a lot of firsts for me. It’s my first multitrack recording in probably 15 years, as well as my first time syncing external audio to video. On top of that, I’ve never played guitar with DADGAD tuning before, so I hope to have more fun with that in the future. Thanks for listening! #celticmusic #bagpipes #folkmusic #lbps
