Travellin Terrace, B.C. | Prince Rupert, BC | Office upgrade Some workdays are spent behind a desk. And then there are days like this. I headed from Terrace, BC to Prince Rupert, BC with Jacob, a Red Seal heavy duty mechanic, for what was technically a regular workday. His job was to repair a tugboat. Mine was to film him doing it. But once we climbed aboard, I realized this wasn't going to be an average day at work in Prince Rupert. With no crew on the vessel, I had a rare opportunity to wander around with my camera and explore parts of a working tugboat I would probably never normally get to see. The engine room, wheelhouse, decks, living quarters — every corner seemed to have something interesting behind it. That's one of the things I love about what I do. One day I'm sitting in the office in Terrace, B.C. , and the next I'm standing on a tugboat in Prince Rupert, BC wondering how on earth this became my workday.
