This Cow is Living in 2030! That's because the cows in Slovenia are living in the future! Have you seen a Mlekomat machine? Well, in Slovenia, these dispensers provide fresh raw milk 24/7 right across the country, reaching cities, towns and villages with no middleman🥛 I'm going to be investigating this system and creating my own unique piece of art in response - a campaign for the Mlekomati - inspired by classic milk advertisements from the past (yes - milk moustache included!). Although similar machines exist in Italy, Germany and Switzerland, Slovenias vast network is perhaps the best example in the world. The system is changing how locals access dairy. Instead of waiting for grocery store hours, consumers can purchase fresh cow's milk - as directly from the source as possible. It's a fascinating look at how urban living in Ljubljana is integrating farm-fresh products into daily life.
