The Final Show at CGA | 8/16/26 | Caifornia's Great America

Given the rapid and unwise removal of all entertainment over the past 2 years Happiness Is and 50s Jukebox Live! have managed to survive shortsighted budget cuts, until now. Given that this was the 7:30pm show and Happiness Is had its last performance at 6:30pm on this day, this may not just be the last 50s JBL show, but the last live entertainment show at California's Great America, period, at all. Given managerial choices as of late it is unlikely any non-ride activities in the park (despite historical interest from guests) will receive funding nor will there be any new additional shows created. This year marked the park's 50th anniversary and the park did exactly nothing to celebrate or even acknowledge the milestone. This video is dedicated to the hard working entertainment staff and regulars willing to support live entertainment, even in the face of adversity. -------------- Welcome to the Great America Archivist Society, an unofficial archive of rides, shows and events at California's Great America.
