'An Invitation to Chanoyu' #4 'The Tea Gathering : Spirit and Form'

Omotesenke Kitayama Kaikan has made a new video using the utensils that were displayed in the special exhibition 'An Invitation to Chanoyu', with the aim of making chanoyu easily understood. Chanoyu is a meeting of people's spirits, the Japanese culture of 'Wa' (harmony) that we value greatly. Tea gatherings and tea in daily life are alike in that they both value the harmony between people that is based on drinking a bowl of tea together. We would be happy if many of you, from those who are new to chanoyu to those of you to whom it is a familiar part of your daily life, will watch this.
