#DarkAmbient #RomanEmpire #AtmosphericMusic The baths are flooded. Somewhere beyond the empty streets, the last fire still burns. Umbrae Aeternae is a continuous one-hour dark ambient journey through six forgotten places of an imagined Roman Empire. Moonlit baths give way to a burial road, a temple without gods, a subterranean archive, an abandoned palace and the final fire above the city. Six new compositions unfold through sparse harp, low strings, distant horn, alto flute, bass clarinet and occasional quiet wordless choir. Melodies return in altered forms while harmonies and instrumental colours change. Thirty-second audio crossfades connect the chapters. Each chapter has its own artwork, with a fixed camera and gentle visual transitions. For reading dark fantasy, writing, drawing or simply staying with the ruins after midnight. No lyrics or spoken narration.
