Hello & Welcome to my channel. This is a walk through of the project that I have created for National Scrapbook Day, this event will be on Country Craft Creations May 2, 2020. If you have not used the lay flat wrap designed by Tammy Merrill, I will post a link below so that you can have your album wrapped prior to the event. This will make it possible for us to complete the project in 1 hour. Thanks for watching and I hope you will be able to join us on NSD, these events are always jam packed with ideas and isnpiration.
Wrapping the lay flat cover - stay tuned till the end for the tutorial on the wrap - • Celebrate Autumn - Super Quick and Easy Folio

The Paper Jungle – Bobbie Weaver
Medium Weight Chipboard
2 @ 6 ½ x 7 ½
1 @ 2 ½ x 7 ½
Cardstock for Wrap – Dark Brown Artisan used in tutorial
2 @ 8 ½ x 9 ½
1 @ 5 ½ x 9 ½
Cover for inside of spine 7 3/8 x 6 ½ - I attach with score tape sheet – I get better results with score tape for this piece than when using wet glue.
Score Tape Sheets – 2 pcs. 8 ½ x 11 for attaching chipboard to cardstock
Envelope – Inside front cover, cut 12 x 8 - score both long ends at ½ and ¾” then with the 12” side at the top of the score board – score at 3 ¼, 3 ½, 7 ¾ 8” you will have 2 long boxes at the top and bottom of both long sides that need to be cut away – leave the 2 in the center
On page pocket inside front cover – 8 x 4 ½ - with 8 at tope score both short ends at ½”. To punch inset place in mini score board with 8” at top and punch at ¾” turn over and punch the other end also at 1 ¾”. For the decorative paper strip punch on each end at 1 7/8” then cut away the center on both pieces.
Spine – 6 ½ x 7 - with 7 at top score both ends at 1 ¼ and 1 ½ - then score every ½” between the two ends – you should have 8 score marks ½” apart which makes 3 page hinges.
(I have used 5 pieces of cardstock so far)
Pages/Flaps –
There will be 3 pocket pages – stair stepped much like a water fall.
6 x 6 ¾, 5 ½ x 6 ¾, 6 ¾ x 5 – these are not scored, I used the WRMK angle punch for the top edges. 7 ¾ x 5 ½, 7 ¾ x 5, 7 ¾ x 4 ½ - these are scored on both ends at ½ with the 7 ¾ side at the top of the score board. I am using a mini envelope board to punch 1 ½ ” from each end with the ½” score mark folded under . Design paper for these with be punched a 1 3/8”
Inside of Back Cover – 3 pcs. @ 6 ½ x 5 – with 5 @ top score each at ½” – cut 1 @ 4 ¼ x 4 – with 4 ½ at top score this at ½” also. There will be a magnet applied to the back of this piece.
I will include at the end of the tutorial how I arrive at my finished inserts. I normally get all my left over pieces together and try to use them up. This includes small pieces of paper, cardstock, ephemera and stickers. I try to use up the small pieces and not cut into a 12 x 12 sheet for the inserts. I do keep my small pieces of Artisan in folders and often go to those for the inserts. I also use dies and punches to get shapes to add to the inserts.
