I Keep Returning To Fill Your Jar

No rain had fallen in so long the ground had forgotten what softness felt like, and everyone around her was doing the same quiet arithmetic you probably did this morning — counting what remains, bracing for the bottom of the jar. This devotional sits inside that exact kitchen. It walks through the old promise made to her — that the flour would not run out and the oil would not fail, not all at once in abundance, but a little at a time, exactly matched to what each day required — and asks what it would mean to trust a presence that keeps returning, instead of a shelf that keeps shrinking. We keep meeting back here, a little further into the same conversation each time. If a word rose in you while you listened — the one thing you have been quietly afraid would run out — you are welcome to leave it in the comments below. No need to explain it fully. Just a marker, so that when we sit down together again, we will both remember where you left it. This Scripture-inspired devotional reflection was written to help you slow down, stop measuring your worth by what is left on the shelf, and rest in a provision that returns fresh, one day at a time. ✦ Inspired by Scripture 1 Kings 17:12 ◊ 1 Kings 17:14 ◊ Luke 4:26 You can sit with these verses in your own Bible, in your own translation, and let them keep speaking long after this video ends. --- #ChristianDevotional #ScriptureReflection #BibleVerse #Prayer #1Kings17 #GodsProvision #FaithOverFear #TrustGod christian devotional, scripture reflection, widow of zarephath, 1 kings 17, god's provision, prayer for finances, trusting god daily, faith over fear
