Our First Glamping Trip with the Coody 8.0 at Willow Tree Hilltop Campsite. After months of being influenced by camping groups, Facebook posts, and TikTok reviews, we finally decided to get the Coody 8.0 and take it on its very first adventure. For this trip, we headed to Willow Tree Hilltop Campsite, located about an hour from Kuala Lumpur. Surrounded by beautiful mountain views and cool weather, it turned out to be the perfect place to test our new air tent and enjoy a relaxing 2D1N glamping experience. In this video, we share the complete journey from the scenic drive to the campsite, setting up the Coody 8.0 from start to finish, creating our glamping setup, cooking BBQ and spaghetti carbonara, enjoying a peaceful night under the stars, waking up to a sea of clouds, and finally packing everything up before heading home. One of the highlights of this trip was witnessing not just one but two sea-of-clouds moments. The second appeared after a heavy rain shower while we were packing up, and it was even more spectacular than the morning view. We also take a look at the campsite facilities, including the toilets, washing area, common spaces, parking area, and surrounding scenery. Along the way, there were a few unexpected moments too—including an encounter with a lipan that definitely got our attention.
