(上層展望) CTB 682 Wu Kai Sha Station 烏溪沙站 - Chai Wan (East) 柴灣(東) | 5206 UJ5301

CTB 682 is a route travelling from Wu Kai Sha Railway Station via Ma On Shan, Tate's Cairn Tunnel and the Eastern Harbour Tunnel towards North Point, Quarry Bay, Tai Koo and Chai Wan. It has a high ridership even at midday as it is able to provide a direct, seated and air conditioned connection from Wu Kai Sha and Ma On Shan towards the Eastern distrcits of Hong Kong island. Although it takes around 30 minutes more than the MTR, it does not need 2 transfers (Tai Wai and Admiralty) and allows you to avoid the congestion of MTR stations, peak hours or not, therefore many customers (as I visibly observed inside the bus) have still chosen to take this bus route, even after the extension of the East Rail Line in 2022 to Admiralty.
