Darkest Dungeon - Dismas defeats the Heart of Darkness with a One Point Blank Shot

For years, I had wanted to see a Highwayman defeat the Heart of Darkness with an one shot using the Point-Blank Shot ability. That video never appeared, so I decided to be the one to make it happen. At first, I didn't get the results I wanted; I kept falling short on critical hits or raw damage. I put that personal campaign on hold for months until the "Fire's Edge" update arrived, bringing with it the Crumbling Timekeeper trinket. It’s a fairly simple trinket: it offers accuracy in exchange for health, and every time you complete a mission, it grants more damage at the cost of an increased health penalty. It is a very risky trinket, but one with immense potential, (and with a dark catalyst trinket); so the only thing left to do was stack it to its maximum potential. With this video, I’m documenting two things: The first Highwayman to kill the Heart of Darkness in a single hit. A showcase of the risks and the immense potential of the Crumbling Timekeeper. Needless to say, I was nervous: it was my first attempt in years, and recording it didn't exactly help me stay calm. Still, I proudly share this video, hoping others might get the most out of the Crumbling Timekeeper without fear.
