Tomb Rot - Baphomet Rite

The first of four tracks on Californian blackened death metal band Tomb Rot's 2017 EP. All of this EP was to be re-recorded in 2018 as part of a full release titled Hemetosis, but this never came to be. Lyrics: Death on the cross Drink blood off the flesh Consuming the chosen Cannibals! Hypocrisy bound Shunning "Sinners" of light Sacrifice Causing war on your "Holy Grounds" Lacerate Adhere Kill for the Baphomet rite Condemn Convey Defile for the Baphomet rite Butchered blasphemous Slaughtering innocent "kill the heretic" The stake burns for you! The blood stains YOUR hands Depressing our power Subsiding for fear of heresy Exile Lacerate Adhere Kill for the Baphomet rite Condemn Convey Defile for the Baphomet Rite Lacerate Adhere Kill for the Baphomet rite Truth submerged in fear Contorted in reality Distorted by empty words Spoken from the dead Cutting the throats Trying to silence the words That are opposing you Actions of a coward Starters of war Bringers of war Start off the war Bring us the war! Retribution For false actions of the past Seizing life For what it truly is Hauling weight onto our broken backs Slaying all without a second chance! Slaves that walk the path Blind to what they see Lungs are filled with stone A sinner cannot breathe No guidance for the lost Just suffer as you pray You cannot see the light The sun will burn away! Exile Lacerate Adhere Kill for the Baphomet rite Condemn Convey Defile for the Baphomet Rite Lacerate Adhere Kill for the Baphomet rite
