Gather the base. Pour the stagnant bayou water into a rusted cast-iron cauldron. 2. Infuse the rot. Stir in the pureed algae slime until the water turns a thick murky green. 3. Stir in the spirits. Add the dried beetle shells, minced cockroach wings and pinch of ground cemetery dust while chanting backwards. 4. Simmer the sludge. Bring the mixture to a slow, bubbling simmer over a fire of glowing embers. 5. Steep the flora. Drape the weeping willow moss over the sides of the pot, allowing the tips to submerge and bleed into the liquid. 6. Finish the curse. Remove from heat, drop in the toad stools, and carefully add the viper venom. Serve cold to unwanted guests. CAUTION: Do not inhale the vapors during a full moon. Consuming this stew may cause permanent webbed toes, uncontrollable croaking, or spontaneous transformation into a garden toad. Brew at your own peril. *Disclaimer: Of course Maw Maw didn't really make this recipe - just out of her spooky Halloween creative little mind - Enjoy her creativity and young at heart fun! :D
