August Junk Journal Challenge | Prompts 26-29 | Creating Hidden Pages Prompts 26–29 brought together some of my favourite things about junk journaling — hidden pages, clusters, using up scraps and giving something old a new purpose. For this part of the August Junk Journal Collaboration, hosted by @raindroplila, I worked on several pages using a mixture of vintage papers, scraps, fabric, lace, images and embellishments. My main focus was my favourite technique: hidden pages. I love incorporating unexpected places to tuck away journaling and little pieces of ephemera, so these pages gave me plenty of opportunities to play with that idea. I also created layered clusters using scraps and older pieces from my stash, proving once again that those little bits we can’t bring ourselves to throw away can become some of the most interesting parts of a journal.
