World Alzheimer's Day 2026

What happens when the people who spent their lives caring for us begin to need more care themselves? That was at the heart of our World Alzheimer’s Day conversation on 12 September 2026: “Before They Forget, Plan Their Care: Planning, Financing & Navigating Healthcare for Ageing Parents.” Together with our distinguished panelists, we explored why caring for ageing parents requires more than responding to a diagnosis or waiting for a crisis. It requires planning ahead, having important conversations early, understanding care and financing options, and knowing how to navigate and coordinate the healthcare journey. Above all, it means keeping our parents’ wishes, dignity and wellbeing at the centre of the decisions we make for them.
