Stop Escaping Your Pain. This Is Where Healing Begins | Carl Jung
Healing
Sometimes the feeling you keep pushing down is not trying to ruin your peace. It may simply be asking you to notice what is happening inside you.
In this video, we explore what happens when you constantly suppress sadness, fear, anger, exhaustion, disappointment, or emotional pain — and why healing may begin when you stop fighting what you feel.
Inspired by Carl Jung’s ideas about confronting the unconscious and becoming more aware of the parts of ourselves we tend to reject, this video invites you to develop a gentler relationship with your inner world.
You don't have to fix every feeling.
You don't have to understand everything immediately.
Sometimes, you simply need to stop abandoning yourself when something hurts.
In This Video:
• Why pushing feelings down doesn't necessarily make them disappear
• How emotional suppression can keep you disconnected from yourself
• Why acknowledging a feeling is different from being controlled by it
• Learning to ask, “What am I feeling right now?”
• Understanding the difference between feeling pain and drowning in it
• Why emotional honesty can be the beginning of healing
• How curiosity can replace judgment toward your emotions
• Learning to stay with yourself when difficult feelings appear
• Why you don't have to fix everything you feel
• How turning toward yourself can change your relationship with pain
