Sandy Lake unknown fig Review with Elie and Shawna

Sandy Lake is a large healthy green unknown fig that was discovered near Sandy Lake in Carrollton Texas. It was collected and planted by a Lebanese gentleman, and then given to my friend Elie over 40 years ago. Elie is a fellow fig enthusiast here in Northeast Ohio, and has been growing it in ground for the past 25 years. He's very fond of this fig and I think you'll see that his enthusiasm for growing figs shines through. He loves this fig and wanted to make sure I was growing it. I plan on planting one in the ground here myself so that I can continue to evaluate it. I have several in containers. Again, one of my favorite aspects of growing figs is sharing them and meeting new people along that way. Thanks for joining us on our journey. Pick up some of my varieties on Figbid.
