The story of Anderson the Screaming F40PH-2

On November 22nd 1985, 4 years after Colossus’s Accident in 1981, Anderson ( Amtrak 243 ) and Jean ( Amtrak 222 ) was pulling the Southwest Chief from Los Angeles to Chicago, but they never reach Chicago for the next few days. It turned out Anderson had a clear signal and collided into a Santa Fe Trailer train loaded with trailer trucks, Both Anderson and the SANTA FE locomotives were destroyed in the wreck and ruptured fuel tanks and killing 15 people on board, the train was carrying 317 passengers. In the end, Anderson and The Remaining Santa Fe locomotives were scrapped and Jean and ATSF 5044 were repair and return to service, but in 2003, the F40PH-2 were retired when Amtrak purchased P42DC and Zachary got a second life and was rebuild into a NPCU and now continue to run on the a,track Cascade Service. As for Anderson, his spirit haunts the line screaming looking for his next victim.
