🗻 *FINALLY SEEING MOUNT FUJI! 🇯🇵 | Chureito Pagoda, Oishi Park & Lake Kawaguchi | Japan Ep. 6* Welcome back to **Trails & Tales with Kajal**! ❤️ In Episode 6 of our Japan Series, we are finally heading out for our **Mount Fuji day trip from Tokyo**! 🗻 This was one of the days I was most excited about because seeing Mount Fuji up close had been on my Japan bucket list for a long time. Here’s our complete itinerary for the day: 📍 *Tokyo → Kawaguchiko* We started our morning from Asakusa and travelled by highway bus towards Kawaguchiko. The journey took around 2 hours, and we got our first glimpse of Mount Fuji during the bus ride itself. 📍 *Kawaguchiko Station* After reaching Kawaguchiko Station, we explored the station for a little while and then took a local train towards Shimo-Yoshida Station. 📍 *Shimo-Yoshida Station → Chureito Pagoda* From Shimo-Yoshida, we walked and trekked towards the famous *Chureito Pagoda* viewpoint. The climb was tiring but completely worth it for the incredible view of Mount Fuji and the pagoda. 📍 *Chureito Pagoda* We spent some time enjoying the views, taking pictures and experiencing one of the most iconic Mount Fuji viewpoints in Japan. 📍 *Shimo-Yoshida → Kawaguchiko* After enjoying Chureito Pagoda, we headed back towards Shimo-Yoshida Station and returned to Kawaguchiko. 📍 *Kawaguchiko → Oishi Park* From Kawaguchiko Station, we took the sightseeing bus to **Oishi Park**, located along Lake Kawaguchiko. 📍 *Oishi Park & Lake Kawaguchiko* This was one of my favourite parts of the day. We explored the beautiful flower gardens, walked along the lake, enjoyed the incredible Mount Fuji views and took lots of pictures. 🌸 Oishi Park is especially beautiful because of its seasonal flowers, Lake Kawaguchiko and the Mount Fuji backdrop all coming together in one place. 📍 *Oishi Park → Kawaguchiko Station → Tokyo* After spending time at Oishi Park, we returned to Kawaguchiko Station and took our pre-booked highway bus back to Tokyo. ✨ *OUR COMPLETE MOUNT FUJI DAY TRIP:* Tokyo → Kawaguchiko Station → Shimo-Yoshida Station → Chureito Pagoda → Shimo-Yoshida → Kawaguchiko → Oishi Park → Lake Kawaguchiko → Kawaguchiko Station → Tokyo 🎟️ *Travel Tip:* If you're planning a Mount Fuji day trip from Tokyo, I recommend booking your highway bus tickets in advance, especially if you have a fixed return schedule. This was such a beautiful day filled with incredible views, beautiful places and so many memories. ❤️ And our Japan journey doesn't end here!
